Spring's in Bloom

Not much going on today.  When Tim got home from work, he suggested a ride.  With that, and Robin's voice in my head - or her typing, to be exact - I grabbed the camera, and off we went.  I can't resist the trees.  Everywhere you look around here, the trees are covered with blossoms.  Unfortunately, I've forgotten my tree names.  Of course, there's the good chance I never did know but a few.  Obviously, this didn't stop me from taking pictures. 

We drove past my two favorite houses.  The yellow house is for sale again.  It's been a few years since it was last being sold.  I'm having the same luck as last time trying to convince Tim we should buy it.  The other house is not for sale, but it's my most favorite house in the whole world.  It's beautiful year-round, but it's especially awesome at Halloween and Christmas when they go all out decorating it.  Tastefully.  Click photo for a larger view.

Going Back to Houston

The day started at midnight, taking Evan to the airport.  The week went by so fast, it seemed he was here for just a couple of minutes.  He'll be back at the beginning of June.  Brett's Spring Break is this week, and Bethany is back at school. 

This afternoon, Tim and I went for a ride just around this side of town.  The flowers everywhere were very pretty.  We went back to get the camera to take some pictures of our favorite scenic areas.  There were some gray clouds that I didn't really notice until I uploaded everything.  You can barely see the snow-covered mountains in the background of the third and fourth photos.  We weren't sure about the flowering tree in the first photo - is it a plum tree?  It smelled wonderful.  Click photos for a larger view.
